The forecast was, for once, spot on.
It started raining at 7.00 in the morning and bucketed down at 11.00. They called it off shortly afterwards and it continued to rain for the rest of the day. Since that was the first serious rain we have had since March I won't say it wasn't needed - just a pity to wash out our first fixture at Tilford!
I hope the expected message got around to all before any wasted journeys - Hon Fixture Sec is trying to rearrange it for later in the year.
