Applegrowers 202-6 (green 56, Clark 42). Blues 126 (Ellen 36). Lost by 76 runs.
First game for the Blues on the Army's second pitch (we were at one point mistaken for the Blues and Royals!). A good venue, with large pavilion and facilities. The 'Somerset' side (now mostly living in London) proved too strong for the 10-man Blues, and with four good all-rounders, they took the game away from us.
Prize for the best tea of the year goes to Rookie who organised this fixture and which we hope will become a 'regular'.
